If we are prepping for the NFL. Half of our offensive snaps should be from under center.

If he is going to go there, then go all the way.

I really don’t understand why colleges rely so heavily and many times exclusively in a shotgun look.. being under center can open up so many options

66% of the snaps in the nfl were from the shotgun...i am sure teams like Tenn and Pitt are responsible for it not being higher

not our yob, besides, most NFL scouts, GMs, and coaches laugh their asses off at the misused/squandered talent all over the NCAA

Lining Perkins up and telling him to go get the ball is not transferable to the NFL. He will have zero experience on the mental aspects of defensive scheme, assignments, and how to play the position of linebacker.

I’m sure he’s a nice kid, but they are teaching him how to play the position he just hasn’t been capable to mentally do it and he’s always out of position.

Kelly can’t call the kid stupid to the public, he obviously isn’t cutting the mustard mentally, which is why he’s out of position.

It’s not the coaching scheme.

Maybe because teaching a guy to be a line backer has nothing to do with how many times the NFL uses the shotgun.

If Kelly's prepping for the NFL, then he would have moved JD5 to slot receiver to at least give the guy a chance.
