We went to 5 SEC schools this summer on recruiting visits and they all had features much cooler than anything BR has

People love to bitch and moan about LSU not being great and then actively help other SEC schools move ahead by spending a truckload of money to send their kids there. Makes 0% sense to me.

That guy's kid is a current recruit and he lives on the MS Gulf Coast. He's being objective.

Louisiana is such a shithole state to live in compared to most other states though. We rank at the bottom of every ranking for something good, and at the top for every ranking of the poorest quality of life. I wanted to leave when I turned 18 because I was tired of looking at trash everywhere.

I wouldn’t pay out of state tuition for LSU, I’m in MS. Wife and I both graduated from LSU, but if it weren’t for football scholarships he’d be going to his choice of MS State or Ole Miss.

Truth is, LSU has been underfunded for a long time (in part b/c of all our directional schools) and then came Bobby Jindal. who nearly bankrupted the whole state and higher education with it. It has never recovered...
