It’s been a year and half and our coach still doesn’t know that Nuss has much higher upside than Daniels.

You think he’ll magically figure it out during the Grambling game?! lol

Why do you guys say that? In what body of work has Nuss truly made you think he's better than Daniels? Please educate me.

You know, I have a problem with fan baws that have never attended a practice, never sat in the QB room, some of whom have never even seen an LSU game in person being so sure about personnel changes.

It wasn't too long ago the same baws were convinced that Max Johnson, Myles Brennan, Walker Howard were all going to be the second coming of Tom Brady.

Think about it.

Nussmeier does have more upside. I just think the coaches are concerned on his decision making when plays aren't there. He does try to be the hero sometimes instead of just taking what the defense gives him. He will sling it, but he will turn the ball over which is something that must improve. He has to protect the football. But I do think because of that upside, you can work with that.

Daniels is who he is and you're not going to get much better unless he takes the steps forward to be. He can't continue to be hesitant to throw the ball downfield. It's as though he doesn't have enough confidence in his arm to make the throw. When the receivers are communicating with him on how to deliver the ball to them in year TWO, idk what to tell you. But he does bring another dynamic with his feet. He will ultimately protect the football and make plays.

With that said, if you have to scale your offense playcalling back to protect a player's abilities, I'd rather work with the one with the higher upside.Just see how the offense responds from there.
