He seems to be a good person, but like you said, he's not a scholar.
LSU spends about $35K per year per student athlete. You should be able to at least get some passing credits out of that.

was making $800/mo. as an IM supervisor in the 70s, also worked at the Bengal and the Caterie at the same time, I was rolling in dough back then
