Round toe are more traditional. Square toe are new-fangled but seem to be worn by most ranch hands these days. Certainly more comfortable and they are better for working. They are fugly though. Personally I don’t have a problem with square toe but I don’t any and If I did I wouldn’t wear them unless I was on the ranch. Round toe look so much better and especially if you are going to a concert or the rodeo or a dancehall I can’t see why you would wear square toes.

My steel toed boots are square toed cowboy boots and I look kinda redneck in them. I only wear them to visit industrial yards.

I prefer my round toed boots.

I’m a round toe guy. I always prefer the classics, as opposed to the trends.

I am a square toe guy. I like the look and the comfort. Justin Bent Rail is is my boot of choice. Though I have bought the buy 1 get 2 free deal up in Pigeon Forge.

I have boots that are square toe, boots that are snipped toe, and boots that are old school pointy toe.

It depends on what the wearer wants to wear.

I agree 100%. (Some might call 'em "snip toe" rather than square toe, though.)

”classic” is squared toe

only round, I was already grown before the square toe was a thing. It defeats the whole original purpose of a "cowboy" boot

I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of square toe boots.
They are just as bad or worse than the pointed toe style we called cockroach killers back in the day.

Unless you're riding a horse or kicking a field goal, it doesn't matter
