I have zero understanding why people subscribe to Dish or DirectTV. Is it ridiculously cheap or what? Get Hulu or YouTube.

Because not everyone has access to quality / high speed internet.

im not very tech savy but i am about to make the change. Originally got it bc i hated cox cable and had issues with no tv after hurricanes. It's annoying as hell though that almost every thunderstorm disrupts the signal. And just the package I have is $160 a month...originally around $90. satellite providers suck now!

We tried. My trophy wife couldn’t find all the channels she watches. Had to stick with Dish.
