i went in 2019.
paid something like $15 for a reserved parking spot.
only to realize i could have parked for free a lot closer to the stadium.
2:30 kickoff and the parking lot attendant acted like i was nuts for showing up at 8:30 (i thought i was late).
She even said “you the game doesn’t start until 2:30?”.

We do things a little different in Baton Rouge. We showed up on campus in Tuscaloosa at 11 AM for a 7 PM game and it was dead. I was like uh what’s going on? In BR, things would be cranked up by 11 AM already.
Point being, nobody does it like South Louisiana. It’s the one thing Louisiana takes true pride in and does right.
