Excuse me Dovehunter? Where did I "bash" anyone? I am truly glad that President Tate is well received in Baton Rouge and I meant for my post to reflect that.

I’m responding to the notion that we have let everybody in. It wasn’t intended to be a response to what you said. My texting skills are limited. Sorry if I offended you. Don’t be too sensitive. LSU has the best ( on paper) qualified freshman class in history. Now is Tate responsible for that? I don’t know. I suspect our success in sports helps as much.

LSU is trending up right now. We are winners and those HS kids take notice of recent trends more than anything. Tate has supported the Greek system too which is vital to the long term success of the university as well. Ex-Greeks contribute like 80% of all donations to LSU. LSU can’t be great without donations just like sports won’t be successful without a robust NIL program. LSU is a front runner on the NIL stage. Tate hasn’t hurt that effort.
