He won't be imprisoned, but a question - when did he address the establishment? I mean how did he do that in your view?

Exposed them. You misunderstood me earlier which is such a common drag on this board, but despite your wide-eyed awareness of the shadows lurking in our institutions, many people who now see it with clarity had little idea of their capability and motives until the 2016 election. He's driven them to the point we are now, just by being not them. It's probably why you voted for him, assuming you did.

I'm sure that is a dissatisfying answer, but in the real world, that was a big step. The media is considered a joke, the intelligence agencies have absolutely no credibility, Elon Musk bought Twitter to end their censorship. If you don't see the difference between 2015 and now, we should probably save our thoughts for other people because that's something so obvious to me.

We see the same thing. In fact, what do you think I meant by "the establishment was in far greater control on Trump's lasts day in office than it was on his first?"

I think the difference between our positions is I believe Trump is accountable for some of that greater control/greater strength, and you see him as just a victim. And I don't mean to put words in your mouth - let me know if I've got your POV wrong.

I don't see him as a victim. I see him as a wheel breaker. He'll be a victim if he is convicted of false crimes, by everyone's definition.

I "blame" him too if that's word you want to use. I blame him for being so stubborn that they were forced to use weapons they've always had at their disposal but used covertly and with great success for the most part, except this time they had to show it all. I blame him and appreciate it.

So you don't see any connection between the strength/control the establishment gained while Trump served and how he funded what amounts to the establishment, or the decisions he made in 2020 that absolutely supercharged the establishment.

I see your position. I just don't see it the same way. 2020 is irrelevant. As soon as the veil was lifted on the crimes committed to stop him in the 2016 election, this was inevitable.

And I think 2020 is the most impactful year on America since WWII. I look at the political, cultural and economic landscape today and Covid response has its hand prints on all of it.

Hell, there's a reasonable argument that Covid response is responsible for Biden in the WH, and think of how different everything would be if it was Trump.

I don't disagree here and it doesn't refute what I'm saying. Chalk it up to lateness, but we are not on the same page at all.

I'm out. A rare PT discussion that didn't go off the rails. I'll consider it a win for that.

I'm curious what you're saying then. I'm guessing it has something to do with Trump being powerless to shape Covid/Covid response, but maybe we can pick it up another time.

I'm hardly a PT old-timer so can't say for sure, but I think this used to not be so uncommon. But today you're absolutely right about this.

And do traditional ratings assume you can watch something for only 2 seconds?

Traditional ratings don't even measure actual viewers they extrapolate and estimate.

After OP’s post and total lack of any argument, reasoning, relevant proof or even reasonable doubt as to why the views are much, much lower than X indicates

OP & his TDS betrays himself & positively convinces, verifies the now 300 Million views!

WINNING

Lol you guys won’t even admit Ron Desantis shut down Florida.

Which he did

Instead of denying the shutdown, Ronnies should point out that DeSantis sent out road crews during the lockdown and got a years worth of road repairs done ina few weeks
