I was fired up to see him pull some percy harvey shite against UF in 2009 as a frosh. That game was hyped. Zero touches

We had like 150 yards of offense that game. A freshman Russell Shepard wasn't doing anything against that defense. Honestly, outside a long run against Auburn, freshman Russell Shepard didn't do much against anyone his freshman year. He had a good start to the 2010 season, then his production went way down and his touches decreased as the season went on. His biggest problems were he didn't make many guys miss and went down too easily. He had to be in space with wide open running lanes to be effective. Look at his biggest running plays of his career. He made one cut and ran to daylight without being touched. Guys like Percy Harvin, who our fans seem to think he could have been, didn't have those weaknesses
