Fla State has 19 returning starters, they beat LSU last year. And they are picked to finish either 11-1 or 10-2 this year, depending on who you ask. Fla State has to feel confident, they’re a legit top-ten team. But this is not the same LSU team that Kelly was having to piece together last year when Kelly was just hoping to be competitive. This year, LSU has a much more explosive offense, Fla State doesn’t have a clue what’s coming their way.

Florida state had every advantage outside of home field. They played a week 0 game and needed several mistakes from LSU just squeak by with a 1 point win. Btw, an LSU team that had been severely depleted the year before and had a brand new coach in his first game. It will be a tough game but I like LSU this time round.

They would be a good fit in the SEC. Might be redundant. though, with FL already brining in a similar market.

If we throw for more than 30 yards in the 1st half unlike last year we should win

No they haven’t. By your thinking they beat the 2019 Tigers, and 2007, 2003 and 1958. Every year is a different team. No one has beaten this years team.

FSU beat LSU last year after LSU played one of the sloppiest games it has played in years….by one point.

If you take that win off of their schedule, does anyone think this FSU team is ranked in the top 10? They beat absolutely no one but LSU last year and lost to NC State, Clemson, and Wake.

I think they are a good team but are being a little overrated this year. We’ll see in two weeks.

This is why people laugh at this board. Its like y'all just want to say something to make it look like you pay attention or know what's going on to try to be a part of the team or some shite.

Then you say dumb shite like this.

I feel like Texas was much better in 2019 than most people give them credit for, at least at the time we played them in Week 2. That game against us was their Super Bowl: the stadium was packed and loud, Matthew McConaughey was on the sideline hyping everyone up, and they were ready to show the world that Texas was finally back. 3rd and 17 basically deflated their hopes for the whole season and sent them reeling. IIRC, they also had a lot of key injuries that plagued them later on that year. If you took other top teams that year like Clemson/Bama/Ohio State etc. and made them play @Texas in week 2, most of them would have lost.

Ehlinger was ON that night - if they don’t drop that easy early TD it could have ended up even closer.

Don’t know how that pathetic OU team beat them that year.

so that means if we beat FSU, this team becomes better than the greatest college football team of all time?

I’m liking the sound of this!
