Ashley Potter said the first person she spoke with at P.F. Chang's offered to give her a new order of crispy green beans.

Cheng's is good? I've been meaning to give them a try.
Very solid Sichuan Chinese. And Asian Seafood House (don’t let the name frick you up) has an extremely good, extremely broad menu. And as an added bonus, they serve dim sum until 3:30 and hotpots at night.

Who orders green beans from a Chinese restaurant?

That’s Q from Impractical Jokers.

I've found loose staples in Chinese food before (not PF Chang's). When your takeout order is bagged, the restaurant puts no fewer than six staples in the top of the bag. This is especially true in Chinese joints.

None of this makes sense.
Did they not eat the beans previously?
Why are you grabbing the beans and shoving them in your mouth?
Why would you count them with a toothpick?

"We eat those things like crazy. It's been a longtime favorite. We love those crispy green beans. I should say we 'loved' them," Ashley Potter said.

Yea seems odd. Maybe they were all on the bottom of the container.
It sounds like they are claiming they were in the beans? Super weird that they would find none with dinner and 22 the next day unless they went relatively untouched the initial meal

Cheng’s is great

I remember when I was a kid, we got Popeye's and there were a bunch of staples in the bottom of the styrofoam cup thing they put the red beans in.

But they are a family favorite!

Staples are a staple of Asian cuisine.

Odd place to get attached to

Paper clips are probably easier to digest, PF Changs should consider modifying the recipe, or at least throw in a complimentary staple remover.

I don't even almost believe this. If the green beans were full of staples when picked up from the restaurant they would have found one the first night. I think at least one of the kids was trying to get out of eating green beans.
