Original Cock of the Walk was family owned in Natchez. Located Under the Hill.
Once they franchised out, quality went down. Don’t even have one in Natchez anymore.

The only one left I know of is the one in Ridgeland and it opened in 1981. It's always been the best.

Not kidding I’m going to plan a weekend trip to Jackson to go. This is blowing my mind. The Cock of the Walk in North Little Rock was so legit.

Still another one in Pocahontas, West of Madison and South of Flora. Not a fan though because they bought out my childhood/teenage years place, Catfish Haven. It was also far better than anything Cock of the Walk could throw down on a plate

You need to get out more, Bro. There is one on H-49 in Pocahontas, right beside the rock and gravel sales place. Hard to miss. Just look for the big metal chicken in the parking lot. When you pass the Dollar General Store, you have gone too far north. Do a u-turn, go back to the south a mile and take another run at it.
