This is crazy sick. I know it's not all priests, most or what ever word you want to say, but it is sad that this continues to haunt and affect children's lives every day. They have to get this under control. Just stop letting priests have 1 on 1 contact with children. Take a big step towards protecting children.

This has been pretty standard for a while now. Most of these hit pieces involve cases that happened forever ago, but this particular article includes laymen in the overall number, such as teachers, office workers, etc. Not just priests. If we labeled every public school worker who hooks up with a minor as a Protestant, which I would wager they almost always are, the number would be 100x higher than the Catholic Church, and from much more recent occurrences.

100% agree. You can start with eliminating confessionals. Although I understand the concept of Reconciliation/confession, there is no need for a second grader to be behind closed doors with a priest without another adult present.
