Did they say WHY they edited it out? I assume someone didn't mistakenly perfectly remove it.

Here is the 2024 911 S/T, pricing starting at $291,650.

Do they all come with the ugly number and Porsche writing down the door?

If so, I'll be looking at Ferrari for my Christmas gifts this year for the staff.

I've been shopping for a new 911 (haven't placed the order yet), but the dealer in Fort Worth told me that the 911 Carrera S is on a three-year backorder.

I never thought I would say this about non-GT or other special Porsches but if you don't have a previous relationship and want a MSRP allocation that might be accurate. If you are willing to pay an ADM 12-18m seems more in line with what I am hearing. Try calling some of the smaller town dealers, sometimes you can get lucky.

Why even waste the editing efforts on something that offends noone.

I'm thinking about taking delivery in Germany. Some delays, but not nearly as long.

No. You can order them with the Heritage design meatball and Porsche side logo, no logos, or just the meatball or Porsche logo. You can also get a custom-numbered meatball.

If Porsche gave me one I would lose the Porshe logo (I hate the model designation door logos too) but would definitely have a meatball. Not sure what I would pick for the number but the 63 is cool (first year of the 911). Since there will be a few of those I would pick 18, the race number of the first 911 to win a road race.

Minus the hood wheels, looks identical to base model (I understand how it's different)...

A little more than that is different, the body is a mix of GT3 Touring and a GT3RS.

It is mostly a GT3 Touring but with the doors of the RS and cutouts behind the front wheel. The roofline/C pillar is about the only thing it shares with a C2.

Then again a 911 is a 911.
