I think JJ would be a better leader. The team seems to like him more and rally around him better. after that ole miss game I feel that C. Scott will be back. that makes for one hell of an offense next year with these guys:
1)QB JJ/shep/Lee
2)WR Benton, Tolliver, Lafelle, Peterson
3)TE Dickson, Branch, Edwards
4)O-Line Still in the air but should be good due to great recruiting
5) RB Scott, Ridley, Williams, Murphy

Not mentioning possible new comers Randle, Debose and newcomers D. Allen & Calhoun assuming Ford and Pratt are redshirted.

Defense is questionable but the secondary will have expirience as well as the LB with a new coordinator teaching them a new system. May be 1 more year before we see another dominating LSU defense.

Do you really think Shep will be a better QB than Lee? Have you been paying attention this year?

I really think this board may completely melt down if Lee starts next year. However, that is very possible.

the way i looked at it was Shep is locked as the #2 regardless since he'll be used in certain packages as a QB unless we redshirt him

as a fan, I don't want to see jarrett lee ever try to throw the ball again in a game.

If we do not get a real DC (which looks like will happen) and/or Lee starts next year, then it's time for Miles to hit the road Jack

IMHO, the fact that JJ is liked does not make him a better leader, it means that he has a CHANCE to be a better leader

1 TD, 1 int., 10 rushes for 23 yards. He should definitely be the starter.
You fools will believe he should start until after the game Fri.

Yeah, I agree. JJ showed great potential, but I seem to remember a young man who showed great potential at Auburn.

Lee is no leader.. earlier in the season, you'd see him trying to talk to his receivers on the sidelines, and they couldn't even look him in the eye.
Now, he just stands alone.

I would watch Lee on the sidelines talking to the receivers trying to tell them to hang in there. Most freshmen qbs would have gone and sat and shut their mouths and not said a word. Lee is going to do just fine. This season has provided him with much needed experience and it will show next season. I know most want to see JJ, however, I really believe it will be Lee w/ Sheperd coming in, sort of like Hatch did with Lee.
