Sad to see what Rapinoe has done to destroy the USWNT and it’s fanbase

the equal pay issue was pretty controversial but somewhat understandable. I think she is wrong but I can see her point. The kneeling thing is just more "look at me" attention whore behavior, but there are rumors other players felt pressured by rapinoe to kneel as well

Her tossing out the "I see trannies as women and them playing in women's soccer is fine with me" in an interview just before the WC and as she is leaving the sport is straight up bullshite.

You simply can not be any more against women's rights than that.

she is the epitome of a woke mercenary and a shill for hire, put her on commercials and pay her enough and that bitch will say anything

Abby Wambach got old and slow and had the good graces to accept her role and fall back into the fold as she left WSWNT. Wambach had some pretty big ideas and was outspoken but she also never put herself before the team.

Rapinoe is the worst kind of team mate, one that puts herself first and at 38 years old simply cant deliver on the field any more. it seems they put her on the roster to be the team's official spokesman and social justice mascot.

To be fair to Rapinoe, the media also put her there by sticking a microphone in her face every chance they could but she could have told them to stop. She decided to be the center of attention and that created a litany of distractions. I dont care about her opinions or her politics but I am glad she is gone
