Tractor Supply has mole repellant. They up and move to a neighbor’s yard. That’s all I got.

1) kill the food. Grubex kills the larvae. Need to apply it yearly. Won't kill the adults so don't expect immediate results.
Arena will kill the adults and larvae. So can be good if you notice a large grub problem attracting the moles.

2) kill them - traps are the most successful for me. When you find a main tunnel, plop it in. Less success with bait etc. Get a cat.

3) repel them - smoke em out, sonic repeller(questionable results imo).

About all you can do.

As others have said, kill their food source and they'll leave. The one time I had moles, this was the most effective thing I did.

If you have a dog, you might want to avoid leaving them out in the yard unless you're confident Fido can catch a mole. Mine were just competent enough to dig holes looking for it, but not good enough to actually catch it. My yard looked like Omaha beach when I came home one day. Total disaster.

If you’re in NC, note that you need a permit to kill them, or do much of anything to them. Kill their food source is best bet. I’m learning to live with mine - they eat the bugs that eat my plants, and they aerate the soil - might end up giving him a name…

Place a bunch a half sticks of juicy fruit gum liberally throughout the tunnels. They're attracted to the sweetness but they can't digest them. I wouldn't rely soley on this method but it'll make a dent for about $2.00 in cost
