Why do you think you know more than shea when shea’s job is finding out where high schools want to play football

Because he's saying it on the internet.

The place where you can say whatever you want without any real consequences.

That’s a top 3 class IMO

It will be in terms of potential and needs for sure. but wont be on recruiting sites, and 75% of this board will think its a colossal failure to land around 8 or 10

Exactly this. IDC what the end ranking is, if we sign everyone on Shea's list, I'd feel better about this class than I do about the #5 2023 class.

BK knows what he's doing.

Expected , he says that Ivy still not committing to A&M is a sign that LSU is really in it

Do we know if Ivy left the Splash and went straight to 8&4's party on Saturday?

What a cock tease.

Just kidding. Honestly assumed that ship had sailed so any sign of him still being in play is awesome.

Only LSU info I could find is this from Scott At Dandy Don:

quote:

As for who LSU football’s next commitment might be, one strong possibility is offensive tackle Blake Ivy of League City, Texas. Word is he was among the first visitors to arrive yesterday for the Splash and that he had a long, productive meeting with offensive line coach Brad Davis.

Posted Saturday.

One edge rusher still seems light even tho Colin Simmons would be massive

Luckily there's this thing called the transfer portal. I think this class gives BK enough wiggle room to dip into the portal when he sees fit.

What about RB? Don't we lose half of the RB room next year?

We still have 4 RB’s if we lose half.

Keeping Mack in the class but no Atkins

The buzz is Atkins is going to flip to 8&4. He skipped the Splash this past weekend to go to 8&4

That's not really buzz, just what's happening.

As incredible as it would be to land all of these guys, still wouldn't be top 3.

If you include everyone mentioned on that list, it would take us to 287. Putting us in 3rd right now.

Meaning the top 2 are uncatchable and you'd have to get no further signings from the current top 6.

Rankings will change several times, commitments will flip and new commitments will develop so everything is just a current snap shot.

It would be an incredible haul. #TheBKEffect

287 points in the last 8 years has been good enough for 6th. So we could very well end up between 5-7 this season which is a great class.

Realistically Josh Williams could be back i think considering he was a freshman during the Covid year, Diggs could be back if he doesn’t go draft , Armoni Goodwin barring draft , the freshman Holly/Jackson, and Tre Bradford would is listed as a RS Sophomore . Plus the addition of Durham so if there were any transfers or unexpected draft declarations a transfer would probably come into play

would be a great class

no disrespect but Michael Turner is interesting in context of the WRs we typically sign. I wonder what Hankton sees in him, or maybe it's just a reflection of missing on primary targets like Coleman/Wesco
