I remember it Les' cosch speech pissed me off. "The field was bad for both teams...it was an equalizer." No...it really wasn't. We had SEC speed vs big 10 white boys... a workable field for our guys to run would have been nice. Everything about that bowl was busch leauge

Trindon Holliday would have had a punt return touchdown if it wasn't for that damn shitty field.

I was at the game as well--with a co-worker from The DEOMI at Patrick AFB, the Bass Player in a band in which I played guitar, and my son. We had great seats around the 50 yard line about 30 or so rows from the field. Stormed before the game and totally ruined the field. At the end, LSU was called for unsportsmanlike conduct trying to get the Penn State players to stop laying on the LSU players delaying the next play. It was almost like the refs had decided to give Penn State the game.

That was a team with speed and the field 100% took away all the advantage from that and made it into a liability

Definitely one of the worst and most frustrating games to be at. Abysmal field....

But the end of the game with Miles clock management at its best (inside screen with little time left and it runs out).

F that game so much
