This trial date insures that Trump will be the Republican nominee by the time the trial begins. I hope DeSantis is the nominee, however, I think Trump gets his base and the angry at the deep state vote in the primaries because of this witch hunt.

Guessing it will be a mixed verdict in Miami. Guessing the J6 trial will be sometime in the summer of 2024 either just before or just after the Republican convention. It is almost guaranteed that Trump will be found guilty in a DC court even though the charges are 100% bogus (a totally corrupt verdict and it is in DC).

Thus, the Republican nominee will be an indicted criminal by the general election. Trump will be on the general ballot but will be nullified because of his conviction.

Thus, whoever the Dem nominee will be, will default into the presidency.

Another stolen election.......

Interesting.

Any idea why they wouldn’t have done that with the Florida case?

Trumps buffoonery will be on full display to the world

Trump train with roll with us tied to the tracks in the generals.

You mean the kangaroo court will be on full display to show prosecutors get bitched slapped for bringing laughable charges.

His arrogance and lying when they first asked for the documents opened the door to a lot of charges.

99% of the democrat party in DC will be in jail shortly if that is the case.

If convicted in dc it would go straight to SCOTUS where it would be overturned 6-3 minimum

Winning the docs case in May would be a HUGE campaign tool. Bigly, in fact

FYI: I bet its moved again until after the election

I am having a very interesting thought

If Trump wins the general election and he is president how can there be any type of a document issue after that since he can simply declassify all of the documents

Will be interesting to see the reasoning for the May 2024 date

The nomination will be all hit locked up by then and they want him to be the nominee. Why Trumpers can’t understand that is beyond me.

He messed up last night and told the board he never voted for Trump. Not in 2016 and not in 2020....

I didn’t either.

However, there is NO frickING WAY that I would have ever supported this guy:

This is the only thing I could come up with as well. Tells you they have a very high degree of confidence in that case.

Otherwise - it’s risky.

Good for you. Ohio did. Often.

I had some hesitation, particularly with his support for the AWB in the 90s, but he voted against the Brady Bill, he was mostly solid on gun rights as Governor of Ohio, and I've always liked a lot of his fiscal policy.

He wasn't my first choice, but when the primary rolled to Florida, he was the best option left, in my opinion. I don't hate the dude because I'm not pathetic, but he lost me for good after Parkland.
