We are struggling because you don’t follow recruiting. You simply log in once a week and expect the number 1 player at each position to commit every week for 389 weeks in a row.

Negativity is opinion based. What's negative to one may be reality to another. We've had our "moments of clarity"(melts). We are trending well today in terms of visitors for the splash. Can't change opinions without visits.

Guess we're just gonna have to shut down the football program. Oh well. We suck again!

$hit, our recruiting ranking is falling faster than Bill Clintons pants in the White House. Do we even get a Top 30 class this year????

need to book 4 or 5 big names off the remaining list for a top 5 finish.

Down to #13 on 247 and #14 on ON3 Seems like we don't really have any solids on the big time recruits either.

I’m not worried yet unless we are in the same spot in 3 months. Still think we finish in the top 7.

A better question is why do teams like Ohio State, Bama and Georgia get the big dogs to commit so early yet we can’t? I think thats a fair question.

Why are you struggling with recruiting? Your first time following it? Alabama is at 19, they are struggling worse than we are! Lots of struggling going on in this thread.

Bama at 19?, this is just not true.

They are #3 on On3 and have the highest player rating of 92.54. And #5 on 24/7...

I just pulled up rivals, why such a discrepancy? Ever notice the final numbers are so much closer. How come a guys a 3, 4 or 5 star, just depending on the service? Too many unanswered questions with paid scouts. I tend to trust the folks that do this for a living. What you say?

I saw this one posted the other day, thought it summed up recruiting. Player development, coaching, play calling, the right QB, too many things come into play.

“ According to 247 Composite

QB Burrow #295
RB CEH #393
TE Moss #383
WR Jefferson Not ranked in the composite
WR Marshall #13
WR Chase #84
OT Charles #267
OT Deculus #48
OG Ingram #201
OG Lewis Not ranked in the composite
OC Cushinberry Not ranked in the composite
Swing OL Magee #416 “

The greatest offensive I’ve ever seen at any college, is that one or two 5 stars in that record setting offense?

First off, like everyone else is saying, it's July.

Second, If it did turn out bad, I trust a #14 class BK led team than a #1 class coach O led team any day of the week.

Believe what you want but string together a few #14 ranked classes and no coach is winning a championship these days with that. Having top 5 classes with moronic head coaches still can win championships. O and Miles proved that. You can have a 10-15 ranking every now and them and compete but it can't become a trend.
