I think that quote would apply to the Orgeron era and not the Kelly system. Essentially, Boutte was processed.
And frick BOB. He was mostly a shite show in Houston so he’s the last who should talk about “LSU bullshite.”

I wouldn't read too much into the comment. Coaches use a player's school to push buttons, and reinforce the point that they're in the NFL now so it's time to grow up.
Bill Parcells was known for doing it to his younger players. Mark Ingram was a rookie from Michigan State, and Parcells said to Wellington Mara, in front of Ingram, "Ingram thinks we're playing Northwestern this week".
Jumbo Elliott was one of Parcells' "guys", but Parcells would give him shite for thinking he still played for Michigan.

No matter how bad Boutte may be as an NFL WR, he will never come close to being as shitty as BoB is at his job.
