Radiohead's first release was May 1992. REM's was August 1982. So, you have a 10 year difference. Not sure that's really a fair comparison.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Radiohead couldn’t pull off the tour that The Cure just had IMO

They absolutely would have at their peak... they're no longer a band though..
