I don't remember. It's kind of like the 1960s; if you remember it, you weren't really there.

Sept 22, 1962 vs Texas A&M… LSU won 21-0…. I was 13 yrs old so my “child” ticket was .75 cents…. I still have the ticket. My uncle brought me on the Illinois Central special train from N.O to B.R…… now how could anyone forget that!

TCU in 1968. LSU won 10-7. I was 10. My dad won a pair of season tickets and brought each kid to a game. My only real memory is TCU punted on 3rd down and I asked my dad if that is why they were called the Texas Christians because they gave LSU the ball before they had to. It was my 1st in person game but I listened to every game on the radio with my dad and watched with him if LSU was on TV. I also remember he would not let my mom serve rice with dinner if LSU was playing Rice. He was a character and taught me to love all LSU sports. He’s been gone almost 20 years but I still miss going to and watching games with him. The last LSU game he watched was the 2003 natty. Although he was in poor health he refused to go to bed until it was over.

I wish I could forget my first Tiger game, but can’t. It was September 19, 1970. LSU entered the game vs. A&M, ranked 12th and appeared headed toward an unimpressive victory when the Aggies hit a desperation long pass with under 2 minutes left.

Sadly, sloppy defense enabled the Tigers to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory in a 20-18 loss.

LSU vs. Miss. Stats 2006. Russell went berserk in that game as did the LSU offense. It was hot and humid all game long. JP game, I believe.

1982. Tulane’s last win against LSU. On the way to the stadium from my grandfather’s RV a six year old me learned a new word to say right before saying Tulane from the chants from other Tiger fans.

Despite my grandparents and parents best efforts, the F word is still used today.

I’ll never forget it. LSU vs Tx A&M 1994. I was in the marching band. Was incredible on the field. Then get woken up early the next morning telling me my father had passed away around game time.

Freshman year, 1983, FSU and they killed us. Didn't stop the fun though.

Arnsparger came in and revived the team the next year so most of my college years had great football.

I can’t remember the specific game, but it was the Curly Halman era. I remember me and my dad stopping and Popeyes and getting a box of chicken and parking on campus to tailgate. We probably got to campus 2-3 hours before kicked. Back before everything was reserved parking
