There’s a book calling “Chasing Points” by Gregory Howe that sounds similar to what you’re looking for. He was a 34 year old teacher who decided to try and revive his tennis career in an attempt to get an ATP point. Very interesting read.

I have a few juniors playing and one with long term aspirations. This book will do him some good
