How about an official Omaha travel thread

About to take off to Des Moines with my son, have car reservation to Omaha, but possibly no car… 
Will see in a few hours…
Once we get there hit up a nice pregame meal then head over to Hilton to meet up with friends.
Restaurant suggestions? Steak, burgers places. Anything else going on?
Safe travels!

Got in last night just after midnight for a straight shot drive in.
Somehow was one of the more pleasant, yet miserable, drives I’ve done in travel.
Glad to do it once, next time definitely flying because I’m sure the drive home without the excitement of going to Omaha will suck

It's my first time here. I flew in from ATL yesterday, with some Gata on the flight, but more LSU. After getting my rental car and hotel room (in Iowa) squared away, I went to Barrett's last night. Checking out Early Bird for breakfast before the game today, I read that Joe Burrow's big brother is an investor in that place.

Traveled from New Orleans yesterday and we stopped in Kansas City. Loading car in a few minutes and driving into Omaha. Let's do this!!!!

Worked a 12 hour shift at the hospital Thursday night and left around 10 AM yesterday with the wife and our 6 y/o. Straight shot drive. Only 4 stops. Kid was a warrior on the way. Lol. Made it to our hotel around 12:45 this morning. At the early bird now. I’ve seen a ton of LSU fans so far this morning! Can’t wait for tonight! Section 124!

After the tanks homerun my seven year old son asked if we could go to championship game. Easiest yes I’ve ever had for him. We pulled into Omaha Around 10 last night. Just gotta find some tickets now

I hope everyone has a safe trip over and a great time celebrating after we win it all.
Uncle and I had plans to fly in, but a medical situation and roof damage from the storm derailed those plans!
