I mean teams in the SEC have been saving their ace to Saturday and pitching their 3rd starter on Friday because we have Skenes. So they forfeit a game to win a weekend series.

Whatever is going on with Little mentally ain’t gonna be fixed before Saturday. He couldn’t handle the regular season starts/appearances so I definitely wouldn’t expect him to have that corrected for the biggest stage in college baseball.
I think he needs time to sort through what he really want in life and whatever mental hurdles he’s going through. I hope he sticks around and shows all of us what he’s really capable of next season.
Now for your theory, game 1 is way too important to try and “steal” a game. Ty Floyd should be plenty rested and I hope his change up is money tomorrow bc it will be needed to keep these florida hitters tamed.
