I almost died twice in 5 minutes. When I was a wee lad, I pulled out into the street on my Big Wheel without looking first. An old couple almost hit me. I never saw a thing. I just heard my dad yelling at me when I stopped at the bottom of the hill. When I got back up to our house, my dad was talking to the couple and the woman was crying her eyes out. They were on their way home from their grandson’s funeral who had been hit while riding a motorcycle. My dad almost beat me to death when we went in the house.
