The COVID vaccine debate challenge

I’ve only been keeping up peripherally, but it seems that Rogan and RFK Jr want to debate a medical expert on various issues involving the COVID vaccine(s). Thus far, Dr. Hotez, the expert who has preached in favor of the vaccine from the start, has refused.
Rogan has also apparently offered to donate $100k to the charity of the doctor’s choice if he will participate. Here’s a short video of Dr. Hortez and his many appearances on MSM during the pandemic. At least he’s consistent.

From what I saw, Dr. Hotez retweeted an article from Vice taking shite about Rogan. Then Rogan called out Hotez, and challenged him to debate RFK on his show. Hotez has been running and crying ever since.

He was, and is still, one of the absolute worst for hyperbolic pandemic doom and gloom. Its what keeps his grant/award $$ coming in. "Another Pandemic is right around the corner!" Is his schtick. But I think he is a Baylor Prof, right? Pretty sure they have to approve any media appearance. No chance.

In a vacuum, the idea that scientists/other specialized professionals shouldn't debate laymen on laymen's terms on things of importance makes some sense. The idea being that you'll never win Joe Rogan's audience over if Joe is against you, regardless of merit.
But our scientific and medical class is so unbelievably compromised that they've destroyed their own credibility and the "expert crisis" is both real and largely of their own making.

The first part of your argument sounds like you're also a big proponent of masses only happening in Latin. Uneducated proles and all that. Everything about this cock up should be out in the open.
Rogan has three hour podcasts where he and his guests have plenty of time to probe, respond, retort, etc. That's what makes people that are probably full of shite afraid to go on podcasts like that. It's not a 3 minute hit on the Kimmel show. The alternative to long form podcasts is far worse. If the point is to be honest. Which it's clearly not in the COVID control industry.
