If he recovers and pitches like he was in the fall, is he our ace next year?

I heard he was routinely pitching upper 90s and touching 100 and making our bats looks silly.

Does anyone believe our ace is not yet on the roster?

Taylor plus whoever Jay adds through the portal. Plus Shores.

LSU is stacked for years to come.

With TJ, I don’t think Shores will be back until the later half of the season.

Taylor MIGHT pitch if anything like Coleman.

Shores I don’t see pitching at all next year but will be good to go in is junior year

New procedure they are coming back under 12 months.

Edwards won’t be back next year.

On the current roster, Hurd could challenge him. I'm assuming Floyd is gone and Shores won't be back. Noot has an outside shot.

I definitely think we will get arms in the portal that will compete for a rotation spot.

Hurd is more than likely getting the Skenes #1 glove. He’s a weekend starter (next year). Probably wearing #20.

Taylor may be a professional baseball player in 2 months.

No. stop.

One of the dumbest traditions across LSU baseball and football is passing down a number because one dude had a great season. There is no reason to make #20 a thing.

Well Loer could probably be our Sunday or closer next year.

Everything I’ve seen has him as a top 100 draft prospect. He likely won’t return. Edwards is also likely gone

Taylor is in a more advantageous spot due to eligibility position and time of surgery

Edwards likely couldnt pit at all for LSU next year.

Taylor could get you a month and a half (jays words)

The rehab time for TJ has literally zero to do with the procedure itself. It’s all about restoring mobility and strength.

After his injury, Taylor told Jay he intends to come back. He is draft eligible sophomore, so he won't lose his leverage. Of course, he has had plenty of time to change his mind. We will see.

He’s pitched like 11 or 12 innings with a 9 ERA and has almost a walk per inning. Command is a real big problem for him.

not every number needs to be passed on.

like you can have a good Pitcher after a good pitcher with a different number.
