I’ve seen them for sale at dons in Scott. Anyone tried them?
Where can you buy them in BR?

Are they just the shucked oyster on the shell frozen, where you can buy those at Wilson's Oysters in Houma I think for 144 pieces in a case, then load them? Or, they are loaded with cheese and garlic butter sauce then frozen?

How do they taste when frozen then chargrilled as opposed to shucking fresh oysters, then adding the garlic butter sauce, Romano and Pecorino cheese, and other fixings?

I find oysters lose quality after frozen then thawed. I've frozen them in the past to use later for soups or in a seafood gumbo, but never to fry or eat raw.

With the sauce already on them and grilled, they may be good since that's a lot of outside influence in the taste and not just the plain raw oyster. It's worth a shot I guess.

I’ve tried them. Definitely not as good as fresh, but are nice to have as an appetizer option. Biggest complaint I have is that these ones were still attached to the shell they weren’t free floating so when you went to fork it off the shell it was stuck and had to scrape it off and it just tore the oyster up.
