Good thing we have Leah Vann to tell us.

Or tell us about her boots, same thing.

I’ve wondered throughout the season if cutting off the non-starting list was intentional or not

What’s more surprising is that she didn’t post it with all her MacBook stickers in the background and some caption about how misogynistic lsu baseball fans are.

Seems ridiculous to me. I know in football the SEC limits you to 70 players on away games. For the CWS, teams should be able to bring EVERYONE. This is a big deal/possible once in a lifetime experience. Not being able to bring every member of the team seems really messed up.

CJJ cut the roster down. Stevenson and his dad were really pissed that he was not on the "travel" squad for the regionals. that is why he is NOW in the portal

I was a little surprised TBH that he wasn't on it. But to be fair, who should he have replaced.

Everyone listed under non-starters are all the remaining players on the roster. Even ones that are hurt or red-shirting.

Travel Party/Bench Size/Squad Size/Dugout Limit
The official travel party for the Men’s College World Series is 35 persons. The number of student-athletes in uniform cannot exceed 27. A maximum of 40 individuals from an institution are allowed in the dugout. A non-rostered bullpen catcher is permitted, but must be included in a team’s 40-person dugout limit. A bat handler, who must be 13 years of age or older, does not count against the maximum dugout limit of 40 individuals. Regardless of age, bat handlers shall be required to wear a protective helmet at all times while on the playing field.
At the pre-championship meeting, each coach shall designate the 27 student-athletes who will participate in the Men’s College World Series. A roster form will be provided that should be used to list the 27 student- athletes as well as the 13 additional individuals to be allowed in the dugout during a game.
No student-athlete substitutions or modifications will be permitted after the submission of the list for any reason.
