But is it reasonable to ask for package comparable to a legit NBA superstar that has proven to win at the highest stages for someone who has documented issues staying healthy despite his elite talent?

Yes. That elite talent is 22 years old and when he’s been on the court he’s shown he is among the best players in the NBA. You have every right to ask for the moon and the stars and get it if you come off a guy like that.

We’re not talking about someone that’s all star level but just hasn’t been able to stay healthy, we’re talking a guy thats MVP level/potential to be one of the greatest to ever suit up.

Absolutely. He's better than AD at this age, and better than 95 of the league already. If this dude can get it together between the ears he's gonna be the next LeBron in terms of how unstoppable he'll be

Hornets gave us Scoot for a bunch of future picks

Which would be required, and may be the best haul ever.

1st rounders and swaps with Charlotte? Relying on Zion to be their star?

Yeah I personally think your value is way too high for him currently. You’re putting his value all on his potential and propensity to stay healthy when he hasn’t. I think you had it right the first time- he’s an all star who hasn’t been able to stay healthy. Saying hes potential mvp level and potentially one of the best to ever suit up when dude has played over 30 games once in his 4 seasons, personally seems like a lot. I get hes elite in his limited time but to be a mvp you have to consistently be elite for the whole season (65 games) and even be considered as one of the best ever you need consistently put seasons like that together. But again if your not looking to trade him at all- that’s probably the package you would look for. I just dont trust his health issues and if someone offered me a very high draft pick and/or legitimate all star like player in return I would trade him.

Yeah, I wouldn't do BI or Zion straight up for #2, so I don't see how you can make a trade work.

What's this shite about Houston being interested in Zion? Not sure they have anything I want other than Sengun and that's not close to being enough. I don't want their shitty pick this year either.

What?? I’d trade with houston tomorrow.

Sengun/KPJ/Eason/ Pick for Val/Z/ our pick since they intend on getting Harden.

KPJ
CJ
BI
Trey
Sengun

Eason, Nance, Jose, Herb off bench

I would'nt want much of anything from Houston.
They can have Zion, but the goal for me would be to tell Houston to go get Mikal Bridges for me, and i want Tari Eason as well.

Still stupid. You will have to pay Mikal the same as Zion with half the ceiling. We are just gonna have to live and die by Zions health or lack there of. We would be lucky to get 50 cents on the dollar back in return and then even lower now. Literally no point in selling him now when is value is at its floor. Buy low sell high

There's no way we can trade up that far. If it's zion , im good with it.

Can't see how anything else works.

I'm not upset, I'm laughing.
If what you are saying is true then why post the tweet anyway?
It's not making sense!

You are right. If I were Houston I wouldn’t want to nuke my core for an overweight pre-madonna fat frick that will never play a full season.

If you think that would be a bad trade for us, you might be the one that needs to lay of the crack pipe

Im just posting for information. Again wasnt sure it was reliable but people here have so many rules for a team message board on what can be posted and by whom. Honestly, its not even worth it because you’ll have people like yourself chew out someone just cause they think its not credible, which I specifically stated on the post as well. But you know, how about instead of coming on the board to chew out someone for posting a tweet you didn’t like, you actually post a meaningful point or conversation or just move on like most people do.

It's not just bad, it is a heaping pile of crap. If Eason were not from LSU, no one would care. KPJ is a head case and Sengun is OK but plays no defense at all. How could you propose any trade that did not include Smith and/or Green?

Why do we have to die by Zions health? Again is the fear of him being great on another team so great that the organization just literally sits on their hands and prays he stays healthy?

I wasn't offended by you posting the tweet. That's why I said I was laughing. Because you posted it as if it was "need to know info" when you can clearly look at the page and scroll to see the legitimatcy of it. Or at least Google it to see if a more reliable source like Woj or Shams reported it. Just trying to give you a heads-up.
Also so many people are putting out news on the Pels/Scoot/Hornets/Blazers etc. That it's hard to keep up with so many tweets like these can be misleading when trying to keep up with all this stuff. I only chime in on here when I feel it's needed. I don't feel the need to post on every subject of every page of the message board.

Well thank you for your input. I guess I’ll ask you before posting any tweets. I mean no offense this is a message board, what did you expect to see? Its not espn or woj/shams twitter. Heres an idea if your too confused because of all the information coming through on message boards, why not just put your notifications on in your twitter app for Woj and Shams. There you go I solved your problem. That way your mind can keep up and not get so misled by the official and inaccurate fan message boards you seek all sports information and news from. Plus you wont feel the need to post either. Your welcome and I sincerely hope your brain doesn’t get misled by the inaccurate reporting of fan message boards again.

This board has extremely low hopes when it comes to Sengun, so you are mostly barking up the wrong tree here.

But you are correct, he is the number 1 player we should pursue in a Zion trade if we want to keep title upside.

However, I doubt Houston has any desire to trade him after seeing Jokic win the finals and Sabonis lead the Kings to a 3 seed (Sengun is going to be much much better than Sabonis).
