He started out ok. We aren’t the sole baseball school of the SEC any more. Other SEC schools have figured out a string baseball program is a good thing. Just look at the facilities now versus the 80s and 90s.

When we were winning the CWS on a relatively regular basis we were ahead of the curve for baseball. Now we are not.

All is not lost and we are not “not” competitive. That’s where the OP got to woe is us.

We are on the correct path, but we also have to now recognize with the parity in the SEC and around major college baseball a title is an exceptionally great year he’ll, making Omaha should be considered a successful year.

I love LSU baseball as much as anyone but I think we are ignoring reality. Unless LSU kind of took the SEC tourney off, the hitting issues are real. Last year, although pitching struggled (Skenes is a major improvement this year) LSU could outhit everyone. That’s not happening right now. If hitting doesn’t improve quick, I’m not sure they make it out of regionals. If I’m wrong I will gladly admit.
