My 22-year-old son is a good kid but seems to be rudderless when it comes to moving forward in life. Any ideas for a book that might help him figure himself out?

You might laugh at this suggestion, but Green Lights by Matthew McConaughey.

The book is full of life lessons and good suggestions by a guy that has lived a cool life and is now reflecting upon his first 50 years.

A Pirate Looks at 50 by Jimmy Buffett. Similar to Green Lights.

Green lights is a perfect suggestion. I never highlight or save quotes from a book and I did this one.

My 15 year old read Cant Hurt Me by David Goggins, and it really inspired him to get more focused and disciplined.

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

This book always helps me keep things in perspective. It's an easy and short read too.

D Day by Ambrose. Seriously. This helped me realize years ago that things can always be much worse.

Depends on if he likes to read or not. Is he into business or entrepreneurship or history etc.
