Brandon seriously flubbed the exit but at least he had the courage to do it.

Maybe he didn't want the Chinese moving in and extracting all the Lithium and Copper?

Maybe he was too busy fighting off the DOJ and FBI over bullshite lies started by Hillary?

I could go on, but you get the picture....

Maybe he didn’t have the guts to override the generals?

Biden. Courage.

These words never belong in the same sentence.

You received good advice, do some research. You ignored it. Not a bright look.

I wonder if the families of those dead Marines and of the Americans left behind agree with you on Biden's "courage".

It was one of the most embarrassing moments on the foreign policy front for the USA.

How many US dead were there between Trumps election and the time he left office?

You got me...still no feedback on Trumps weakness in the face of pushback from "the generals."

We know the military didn't want to leave because we'd seen a decade plus of "our Afgan partners" are in charge. When we left the lies that "the generals" told were be laid bare for all to see.

Why didn't Trump have the guts to give the order? Was he intimidated? Was he cowed? Not worth the hassle or potential blowback?

8D chess man. I mean I get Trump being inexperienced in politics and making some rookie mistakes. But with respect to being Commander in Chief, it’s sort of obvious. He is the Big Cheese, and all it would have taken was a single standing order.

Trump started the war? They were already in the process of drawing down troops and eventually pulling all the way out. To do it right takes time, General Marshall.

Biden just pulled the plug with no realistic plan. It's easy to see they didn't think it through because they pulled out the military before the civilians and had no plan how to handle Bagram AB. Then chaos ensued and people were falling from planes.

So courageous!

I agree completely the exit was a disaster. Our military is led by incompetent yes men who are pro Deep State over pro America.

It's in the Doha Agreement signed by the US and the Taliban. The US agreed to draw down from 13000 troops to 8600 within the first 135 days after signing the agreement. Then have a complete withdrawal within 14 months.

The Taliban didn't follow up on their end because their attacks only stopped temporarily. But I don't give a shite about Afghanistan or their people. We were there for 20 years. They will always be stuck in the 14th century.

A courageous disaster I guess.

These generals were pro deep state over America? What a coincidence. Their Commander in Chief is as well.
