It’s honestly not even remotely close of which school I’d rather my kid attend if we had to make that choice

If I were a high school graduate this year and limited to a Louisiana school, it would be UL easily.

When you gonna graduate high school?
Nothing wrong with getting a GED either

How many people do you know who have failed out of ULL and transfered to LSU so they could finish?
I'll wait...

I'm not sure why you started the topic when you first admitted your kids aren't going there anyway.
Everything in Louisiana (McNeese, ULM, USL, Tulane, etc.) is "next to a crime infested area." But, good luck convincing yourself that the places they choose to go aren't full of felons and people that film and post sex acts on social media.
But to answer your worthless question, no, it's no better than any university system that exists in (D) run cities, in any state. Bad things still happen at Baylor, Northwestern, U of Ark, Aggy, etc.
Oh, you're running a risk analysis everywhere the kid goes when they go out with friends, in Lake Charles, Laffy, Denton, etc? You're in lala land. If your kids are female, they'd be safe in College Station, because we know they only frick cows and dudes.

I’ll send my kids to a premier school like Jacksonville State University

Until they learn not to season crawfish by dusting the outside with crab boil, they shouldn’t be allowed to use Louisiana in their name…

The thing is no one cares where you send or don't send your kids to college.

So failing out of LSU is your benchmark to deem LSU superior to other schools? Your logic actually weakens your argument and shows that LSU doesn’t have any standards towards who they admit and also haven’t addressed the real issues concerning their high drop-out rates among freshman and sophomores.

"Everything in Louisiana...is 'next to a crime infested area...'"
Except Louisiana Tech.
Except Louisiana Tech.
