Is the University of Louisiana the premier school in the state of Louisiana?

My kids will not be attending college in Louisiana since we don’t live in the state. But if we did, it seems like the University of Louisiana (formerly ULL) would be a no brainer. The college is not located next to crime infested areas, campus easier to navigate, sports programs on par with LSU (see softball outcome today, basketball team making NCAAt, etc). The library doesn’t have a leak. Less risk of running into criminals going out with friends.
It’s honestly not even remotely close of which school I’d rather my kid attend if we had to make that choice
ETA: Looks like someone got offended and anchored the thread. Guess the truth hurts

How is this a troll. What are the perks of attending LSU and living in BR over Lafayette?
ETA:
More expensive tuition?
More likely to be a crime victim?
Longer walk to classes?
War on greek life?
Besides sitting in the student section for 7 Saturdays a year (which some can get into without being students anyway), what’s better?

You stretched so hard for the perks of UL in your OP you probably won’t shite right for a week
Have you considered starting a thread about fast food or working out or something

Why would a kid go to school to get a good education when they could be watching a competitive sports program and getting mugged on their way to their car?

Alternatively any male could learn to suck a dick with the best of them by attending A&M

You mean UL at Lafayette? It’s not bad. Crime abounds everywhere these days. It’s a decent school and will give a good education and degree. Sports are not on or with LSU. Traffic in Lafayette sucks. Plenty of crime to go around there too.
