If I were a leftist strategist, I would do exactly what they are going. I would concede a state for the short term (let’s use ummm, say Florida) and have the media propaganda apparatus and the Rino wing of the GOP prop up a knight in shining armor candidate like Desantis that I know will play ball our way if elected President. I would welcome and encourage any measure taken by that candidate acting as Governor of that state if it helps getting him the GOP nomination. I would also understand that in order or keep the status quo and present a semblance of balance in our system of government, he would need to be elected President. Trump knows exactly what they are doing in regards to Desantis and that is why he is exposing him on the Disney issue. Disney just happens to be a sacrificial lamb in the state where their chosen one is the executive. Short term, Disney’s interest are expendable to the larger plan of maintaining the establishments power structure. It is all a ruse to get Desantis elected President. He is their guy to carry on the charade. Just like GWB II.
