Austin being the size it is without having one of the major 4 sports is crazy.

Because Dallas and Houston won't allow that to happen.

San Antonio is 75 miles from Austin and bigger. San Antonio will get an MLB or NFL team before Austin, IMO

I swear, some of you are so dumb when it comes to this stuff. Understand the rules...MLB rules state that only 3/4 of the owners need to approve an expansion/relocation of a team. If MLB wants a team in the Austin/San Antonio market...there will be one...PERIOD!! If the owners of the league see how much money it will make them with expansion fees...well then sorry about your luck Dallas and Houston. Again, for the people in the back, it only takes 75% of the owners to approve an expansion team. So Dallas and Houston owners can say no all they want...but if the rest of the owners say yes...then hello Austin Express!!

Nashville Stars - Will be franchise #31

Austin
San Antonio
Charlotte
Salt Lake City
Louisville
Orlando
Birmingham

It’s more because the university of texas doesn’t want to give up that cash cow.
