Schroder, Hewitt and Nelson are my preferences.

Don't want Jindal's boy.
Don't really want a guy who has only weighed in on national red meat political stuff, despite now holding a state government office for almost 8 years, but can't seem to give a single statement on any sort of tax, fiscal/spending, civil service or education reform specific to Louisiana.

Both of my above "don't wants" would still be better than Shawn Freaking Wilson.

Republicans in Louisiana better not screw this one up. Wilson cannot pull the same sort of rural, old EWD Democrats votes that someone like Bel Edwards or Blanco was able to pull, so this is absolutely the GOP's race to lose.
