Albertsons has baby back and St. Louis. Rouse’s St. Louis. Need the app for Albertsons.

I’ve always been partial to St. Louis but I’ve gotten the “Signature Select” baby backs from Albertsons recently and they are super meaty.

I think it’s a limit of two which sucks but I will try to find a work around.

Rouses had “pork ribs” for 99 cents last week but they looked like roadkill butchered by meth heads.

Rouses also has chicken wings for $1.47 a lb. Not sure about the quality of those wings, but that's pretty cheap for wings.

I may pick up a 10 lb. bag if for nothing else but to use for baiting my crab nets.

Probably old, expired, frozen then relabeled and put out in the display case to thaw out.
No thank you.

I have 4 racks from their last sale, but that’s a tough deal to pass up for the St Louis ribs.

Robert’s also has St. Louis for $1.99. And they have chicken thighs for 88 cents.

And I’m thawing out a pork butt. Going to run through a lot of charcoal this weekend.

True this. I just came from Rouses and those so-called ribs are mostly bone, fat and sinew. I had to look hard to find pink meat. Might make a decent pork stock though.

Oh, and the chicken wings for $1.47 a lb. are frozen in packs of 10 and look decent.

I’m not a fan of rouses meat at all…. I find it to be tough and not very good….

Rouses' meat by LSU looks average at best. I just assume their sales are the garbage they havent sold.

The only meat I get from them is pork butt.

Got 4 racks of baby backs from Albertsons for $22 today. That's hard to beat. But I typically don't buy beef there unless its a roast on sale.

Their pork butts for $.99 a lb., leg quarters for as low as $.49 a lb. and split chicken breasts at $.99 a lb. are solid sales and well worth getting.

I got some wings on sale a few months ago and they were crap with many of the pieces looking like Ray Charles cut them up with a machete.

Super 1 Foods also has pork spare ribs (real spare ribs, not the trash Rouses had on sale recently) on sale for 97cents/lb.
