who left the game last night before the start of the 3rd quarter please contact me. Myself, my family and friends who LOVE OUR TIGERS!!!! would never leave early and embarrass our team like that.
I will be more than happy to purchase your tickets from you. In fact... there are thousands of disappointed REAL LSU fans every year who can't get good seats or season tickets who would be more than happy to take your place so you can stay home and watch the game on ESPN 360 in the comfort of your computer desk.

thats the problem- the true tiger fans that support the team and players no matter what can't afford the tickets.

When you live an 8 hour drive away from Baton Rouge you appreciate how much it means to come to a game in Tiger Stadium and support the team. The local fans who've held onto season tickets and gotten complacent need to let new blood come in who aren't only interested in socializing when its convenient.
I guarantee you, a ton of those who stayed were fans from out of town who come in and support the Tigers and who aren't complacent in their support.

A lot of the west sideline seats were empty BEFORE the game. The south and north endzones were full when the game started

I was asking all the people that were leaving the section i was in if they wanted to sell their tickets to me. I dont think that they appreciated my harassment.

DING DING DING......liltunes hit the nail on the head.
We have Bertman and TAF to thank for the unaffordable season tickets. Hell, in my section its like I'm sitting in a new location every week, because all the high brows around me sell their tickets. When they do come they sit on their hands and leave early...

I was outside the stadium trying to sell my extra ticket for $1 and no one wanted it. If you wanted to go to that game badly enough, you could have. Club seats were being sold at a discount, for God's sakes.

That is just sad.

So selling tickets on gameday is considered the same as trying to get season tickets??

True fans can come to Tiger Stadium for just about any game and purchase them from someone outside the stadium. I see people selling them all the time. Even for big games.
So, let's see, even if you don't have season tickets, you can buy them from someone who does, sit in his/her seat and stay for the whole game.
Problem solved and you don't even have to pay the TAF or other fees associated with being a season ticket holder.

Problem is the fatcats buy the tickets and just go to the big games. I had GREAT tickets to this game and the chick behind me says talking to her friend "I don't even understand football much less like it"

I don't know what's worse, the fans who left early or all the fans who are bragging about staying like they're the best fans lsu sports has ever seen.
Get over yourselves.

So.
I have season tickets and chose the games I want to go to. I sell/give the others to friends so that they can go watch the tigers play.
What is bad about that?
Next week, we are selling our tickets to some friends who are taking their children for their first Tiger game. Is there something wrong with that? I don't think so. I am glad to do it.
Perhaps some of you need to make friends with those fatcats so you can get their tickets when they don't use them.
