I have supported and loved the Saints who are the definition of underachieving. Trust me, I am no fair weather fan, although I wish I were at times. I have traveled to watch both teams this year.
You are all having a problem seeing what is going on objectively. I get it, you all love the tigers. But, I see our talented team playing way beneath their potential and I don't like it. Our record does not bother me. The fact that we are not competitive does. My blame falls completely on the coaches.........

worst fan base in the nation? wtf? we travel better than anybody...we yell louder than anybody... if some of the fans leave last night after seeing what I saw in the first half....I dont blame them...that first half was the worst performance from an LSU team ever....and that is 22 years of being a season ticket holder...

Everyone having left at halftime looked so bad on TV that the fans got called out for it on College Football Live. They talked about how the fans always bail whenever things don't go our way.

Maybe year in year out on average - but this year I think Florida might have us beat on yelling loud.
One things for sure - no one was yelling loud last night until we scored our first TD.

Just a thought...instead of having another thread about how people should be ashamed for leaving early, how bout a thread about all the people that didn't show up to the game at all? I know a lot of these threads were started by a bunch of people that ordered the game of PPV and decided to stay home on their warm couches throughout the entire day. There were PLENTY of tickets for sale for super cheap and there were tons of empty places for tailgating so I think that the people who left early showed much more loyality than the people that didn't bother going in the first place.

What was worse was how Jarrett Lee was booed when they announced the starting line-up. That really pissed me off.

I don't know about firing the coach. Hasn't Nick been officially canonized? I don't think he can be fired.
