Huge step on the landing.

But that same routine easily goes 9.9 for the other competing teams

Great routine but she took a big step on her dismount.

The big step hurt. I also think she struggled just a bit on her second handstand.

Would have been a 9.925 for Oklahoma.

Wish Finnegan had a dismount that was easier to land. Minus a 2-3 meets she’s not really stuck it this year

A stuck dismount is the difference in most these routines breaking 9.9s. I

Don't know where the hell the deduction was for Bryant's routine.

Every other team went 49.5 or better. Ouch.

LSU didn’t do as well as they could but a 49.3 on bars in the first rotation is a decent start.

I’m watching with a lot less anxiety because I’m just thrilled for them to be here. The scores for the other teams seem to be much kinder, with small deductions being overlooked. Wong’s dismount was not held and they just didn’t even take anything for the big step back because her arms went up first. That shouldn’t mean the gymnast is done. She was still stepping back. The Utah gymnast had an off balance landing on her first pass and her leap series was off as well but she went 9.9. Meanwhile Cowan had a small step on her dismount and only went 9.825 (admittedly the camera angle is horrible so I couldn’t see handstands).

Well we knew we needed some help (falls or major balance breaks) to have a shot. This is the meet where missing Kiya and KJ is gonna hurt because they are mainstay 9.9 scorers

LSU realistically needed a 49.400 on bars but finishing a .100 under puts more pressure to do better on the other events

I don’t know why I punish myself by watching these things. The judging is always bs.

Seriously. I guess because she has the wrong colors.
