I have always thought Jordan was a good guy. I watched him pitch while I attended LSU and had the opportunity to meet him a handful of times. He seemed decent. I was happy to vote for him in March.

When I heard him say “I’m willing to work hard”, I believed him. I thought the comment was vague and uninformed, but he was just trying to speak to his crowd, right?

When I heard him say “I’m determined, now, more than ever” on the radio, I questioned his sincerity. He hasn’t done anything to help reduce crime. How can he be more determined if his initial determination was 0?

After lurking on TigerDroppings for the last few days, my suspicions have been validated. He is “determined” to smear the good name of an honorable person. He will “work hard” to have his minions use an anonymous forum to inappropriately attack a proven public servant. Whatever decency he had, is long gone.

Jordan is scared. You can hear it in his ads. You can see it here on TigerDroppings. I can’t vote for someone who is scared. I can’t vote for someone who will cave to the demands of deep pocketed defense attorneys. I can’t vote for someone who has to attack his opponent because he lacks the experience and knowledge to make a valid case for himself. I can vote for Louise. I can vote for someone who actually knows what it takes to make our city safe.

Hahaha... You were never voting Faircloth.. You were voting for the fake Republican who is soft on crime... Just what Baton Rouge needs.. Another RINO, Criminal Loving Judge.
No thanks.

You appreciate my writing. Thank you.

This definitely sounds like a legitimate post and not someone posting a focus-grouped script on behalf of a campaign.

Doing a bang up job so far, ain't she. Safest I've felt in Baton Rouge in decades.

Well, you realize your post applies to the numerous attacks on Louise, right?

I happen to know and like both of them. In fact, if I had a vote, I would be more inclined to go with Jordan. L

However, these recent forced attacks against Louise on this site have not been a good look. It comes off as coordinated and desperate. I hope Jordan’s hands are clean of this but it still looks bad.

Forced attacks? I'll give you the "I'm switching my vote from Myers to Faircloth" was a questionable thread. But you know this accusation is far fetched. This is a board dominated by male conservatives hosted on an LSU sports website. Jordan is a former LSU pitcher, conservative, and by all accounts pretty popular in the community amongst his peers. I don't care who the other candidate is - Jordan is going to win the TD straw poll.

The issue comes when Louise's record, her campaign, and her supporters start getting discussed. (This is a forum after all... people talk). You dont like what is said? Either refute it or get a better candidate. But the "this seems coordinated and is a bad look" is a weak response. Yeah the Faircloth campaign is coordinating attacks in a place that is already overflowing with his supporters. Get real. This is organic - people like Jordan and they are calling out a liberal who's supported by liberals, worked under liberals, and yet is trying to convince people she is a republican. Refute that. If you default to an emotional/"that's not fair" argument, well.... kinda liberal of you.

What is Myers' historic view on abortion?

quote:

Jordan is scared. You can hear it in his ads. You can see it here on TigerDroppings. I can’t vote for someone who is scared

Why did Myers delete social media posts about abortion? Was she possibly....scared?

What about THIS SITE makes you think coordination is necessary to attack a "fake Republican" or "RINO"?

Myers fits into the exact archetype that this board hates, whether she's in Baton Rouge, Anchorage, Miami, Arizona, Des Moines, Dallas, etc.

Hines Myers is running a scam. Liberal pretending to be a conservative to win an election. Tale as old as time. It’s more obvious every passing day especially when you have to run slop like this. Woof.
