I also created my dog an email account, I use it whenever I need to give it out for something that isn’t important…keeps my real account cleaner

Yes, and I'm sure there are still some pissed off middle aged women looking for that dude.

In the 90's my employer bought a competitor that required its sales engineers to use the same fake, gender-neutral alias on the phone (as in, "Robin Jones") to avoid customer confusion whenever they fired people.
We did away with that the first week.

I used to give girls who I didn't want to go home with my friends name and cell number at the end of the night. Did it for a couple years before he finally figured it out

is that the origin of your screen name here?
No. It was a common nickname for kids in South Louisiana where I grew up. French origin.

When I place orders in line for something I usually just go with Jack. Makes things easier for everybody.

That's how I got my screen name here. It's pretty close to my actual name.
It came from a cow deal gone bad where an older man who was hard of hearing kept calling me Clyde Tipton.
When we finally saw the cattle and how poor their condition was, I backed out of the deal telling him they must have used old pictures because it was no where close to the actual condition of the animals.
As we were driving home someone said, "I know the old man is disappointed, but there is no way I'm putting those in with my cattle. They could be sick, who knows?"
I said, "Well, if he's cussing me to all the locals for backing out, at least he's cussing Clyde Tipton and not Cl@$ Ti*^^#@&."

A few times with chicks I wanted to bang but not have relations with. Used Stanly as my alias.

I go by a single letter and have since age 7 or 8.

I use Randy bc people have mispronounced my first name my entire life. I’m a third and actually didn’t name my son after me bc of this. It’s also funny to see my wife’s reaction when we go to a restaurant and the hostess greets me as Randy Watson lol.

Only in restaurants. My name is pretty common so I use Elroy when waiting for a table. Never had any confusion about whose table it is.

I once was ordering at Lit Pizza in BR. The guy in front of me had the same name as me, so I gave them a different name. Does that count?
I remember years ago (like 15) when I was at LSU, people would always give wild names to the long hair guy at New York Bagel. He gave no fricks, he would loudly yell “Order for Batman!!”. shite was hilarious at the time.
