I would argue it’s social media/phone addiction.

Fast, easy food has been around decades. We’re all so “stressed” and distracted now, those options are more desirable than cooking a healthy dinner or exercising.

The obesity epidemic really started gaining steam around 1980. No social media then. And even toddlers are getting fatter.

GIGO

I believe what we're feeding our minds is more dangerous.

But it's not just "fast easy food". They've foisted horrible ingredients and habits on even the most mindful of consumers. The constant badmouthing of beef and animal products + the constant insistence upon nasty, destructive seed oils is at an all time high.

I am not exaggerating with my thread title. I think poisoning the body leads to a poisoned brain. To put it in terms this board might appreciate more: I think it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY that the median "non-binary" young female has anywhere close to a healthful diet. Rather, I'm somewhat confident it's more likely to be extra high in all the nasty shite I've railed against. Things like depression flow directly from this slow-motion poisoning.
