“There’s dad.”

Finally caught up last night after binging over last few weeks. Ready to raise the shitshow level to the roof.

My pick from the start of the season, once I saw Skarsgaard get major billing, has been that he ends up with the company and pays less than he intended to.

I definitely didn’t see Logan dying in episode 3 and thought it was a test at first, as well.

I can’t get over how they titled this episode “Connor’s Wedding”.

Anyone else get some Death of Stalin vibes with this episode? It was like that with a mix of some pretty damn well acted raw emotion. This show rules.

That and keeping it so well under wraps all together. There wasn’t one leak that this was happening in this episode. That’s insanely impressive in this day and age.

And if you’re curious how they pulled off not leaking anything they used code words and dummy scenes.

They pulled it off in today’s world, which isn’t easy to do. Bravo.

That was one reason I didn't think it was really happening until later in the show. I didn't think there was any way they could do this without the internet knowing about it. Amazing episode on screen and off

I watched the HBO actor interviews after this one for the first time. Am I the only one that didn't know Kendall is basically the same guy in real life? He's not even having to act.

Jesse Armstrong used to work under the guy that wrote/directed Death of Stalin.

“This was a tough secret to keep!” Pritchett wrote about Logan’s death. “We decided it in the ‘Succession’ writers’ room in Jan 22. So nobody found out, we used a code on the whiteboards. Larry David meant Logan Dies. So episode 403 said Connor’s Wedding, Larry David. Mind you, that would also have been a great episode.”

Missed a golden opportunity to have Larry David at the wedding. Could’ve had peak Greg in interaction with him too.

I want to think he’s a twat then I remember that he (and another friend) moved in with Michelle Williams to help her with the kiddo after Heath Ledger died.

So maybe just 50% twat.

Roman is the only one of the children I actually pull for. Kendall is a twat that uses a lot of words to say nothing ever. Shiv is just an awful person for how she treated Tom. Connor isn't a bad person, just a total loon out for himself. Roman is the only one who appears to actually have a soul.

Thought this was one of the best episodes of a show I’ve ever watched. I’d put it up there with some of the breaking bad episodes. Good stuff.
